December 22, 2011 - I would like to wish all my readers Happy Holidays and a healthy and prosperous New Year. I made brief updates to my reviews of the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, and the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lenses. In a nutshell I switched to the Tokina 12-24mm.

December 12, 2011 - Added a review of the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro lens.

December 07, 2011 - Fujifilm released a statement addressing the X10 and the white dot syndrome:

'Fujifilm engineers have examined a number of sample shots and have concluded that the camera is working within prescribed tolerances. The blooming issue is something not uncommon to many types of digital camera. It is possible to reduce the effects of blooming either by increasing the ISO or widening the dynamic range on the camera. However, after receiving a number of comments from users, we can understand their concern and plan a firmware upgrade to lessen the effects of blooming. We will announce in due course when the upgrade will be available.'

December 02, 2011 - I've updated my Fuji X10 review to address the white dot syndrome (WDS).

November 29, 2011 - Nikon announced it's new flagship speedlight, the SB-910. Improvements over the SB-900 include a simpler GUI and an advanced thermal protection system. MSRP is $549.95. Available mid December.

November 18, 2011 - Added reviews for the Fuji X10 camera and the OP/TECH Cam Strap-QP wrist strap.

July 8th, 2011 - A review of the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X 116 PRO DX lens has been added. There are still a bunch of lens reviews I have to write. Most of these are older lenses which I've since sold but never got around to reviewing on the old website. Hopefully I'll find the time to add them within the next month or so.

June 29th, 2011 - Prices for the Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G lens have been updated in the used lens price guide. Demand has settled down for this lens as most retailers have it in stock as of this writing. However, prices for used copies on average are the same for new ones.

June 10th, 2011 - Added a review of the newly released Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G lens.

May 19th, 2011 - A review of the Industry Disgrace camera strap has been posted.

May 15th, 2011 - A review of the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens has been posted.

April 20th, 2011 - A review of the Nikon AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED has been posted.

April 5th, 2011 - Nikon has announced the D5100, an upper entry level DSLR which replaces the D5000. Read more about it here.

March 17th, 2011 - Read the new review for the CarrySpeed CS-2B sling style camera strap here. Prices for the used lens price guide are still being added, slowly but surely.

February 22, 2011 - The used lens price guide is being expanded to include Canon and Tamron lenses. The update will be posted soon.

February 8th, 2011 - The review of the Nikon 18-70mm DX lens was updated and prices for the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4D have been added to the price guide.
