About Tangent Photo

Tangent Photo was originally started as a means to display my photographs to family and friends. Over the years it has evolved into something much more and I imagine it will continue to do so. I still consider photography a hobby, although with all the time I spend taking photos and working on this site I sometimes wonder about that. I first found a passion for photography in college while studying for my BS degree in Environmental Science, and that passion has been growing ever since. I photograph anything I find interesting, but prefer to shoot the outdoors. I try to capture what isn't obvious to the naked eye, the hidden things that life has to offer.
