Baby Gator - Hilton
Head Island, South Carolina
- this photo is a perfect example of forgetting
the basics. On a recent trip to South Carolina I
packed what I thought was all the photo gear I
might need, except a polarizing filter. I
somehow left it out of my bag. A polarizer
should always be mandatory gear for a nature /
wildlife photographer. The filter would have
reduced the glare from the water, making more of
this two foot aligator visible beneath the
surface. Taken with a Nikon
D600, Nikon 70-300mm VR lens @170mm, aperture f/5.6,
shutter speed 1/80s, ISO 800. |
